Roger Ehrenberg - Managing Director
Prior to joining Geometric Group, Mr. Ehrenberg was the President and CEO of DB Advisors LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Deutsche Bank AG. Mr. Ehrenberg’s 130-person team managed over $6 billion in capital through a multi-strategy hedge fund platform with offices in New York, London and Hong Kong. Strategies deployed included managed futures, statistical arbitrage, merger arbitrage, event, fundamental long/short, systematic long/short, relative value, special situations, convertible arbitrage, foreign exchange and credit.
Prior to DB Advisors, Mr. Ehrenberg was Managing Director and Co-head of Deutsche Bank’s Global Strategic Equity Transactions Group. In 2000, Mr. Ehrenberg’s team won Institutional Investor magazine’s “Derivatives Deal of the Year” award.
As an Investment Banker and Managing Director at Citibank, Mr. Ehrenberg held a variety of roles and responsibilities in the Global Derivatives, Capital Markets, Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Structuring groups.
Mr. Ehrenberg serves on the boards of Clear Asset Management LLC, Wallstrip LLC, Global Bay Mobile Technologies Inc. and Spotlight Data Solution Inc.. Mr. Ehrenberg has also served on the Board of DSL.net Inc., a publicly-traded telecommunications company.
Mr. Ehrenberg is a MBA Graduate of Columbia University, and holds a BBA with Distinction from the University of Michigan.
Jeffrey Stewart – Managing Director
Prior to establishing Geometric Group, Mr. Stewart founded Mimeo.com, an internet-enabled document production company. As CEO, Mr. Stewart grew Mimeo.com to 130 people, including a build-to-order manufacturing facility in Memphis Tennessee. Mr. Stewart remains Chairman of Mimeo.com, which was included on the Inc. 500 list of fastest-growing companies in 2004 and 2005, the 2005 Red Herring 100 list of private companies that drive technology and Deloitte’s Technology “Fast 500” list of the fastest growing technology companies in North America.
Prior to Mimeo.com, Mr. Stewart founded Square Earth Inc, a profitable internet technology firm which developed web-based applications for large corporations such as Citibank, AIG, Merrill Lynch, Pfizer, and PepsiCo. Square Earth merged with the pre-public Proxicom, which was included in the Inc. 500 list of fastest-growing companies in 1998.
As Management Consultant at Ernst & Young Consulting, Mr. Stewart focused information technology and financial services.
Mr. Stewart serves on the Board of Advisors for Global Bay Mobile Technologies Inc. and Meetup.com. Mr. Stewart also serves as Entrepreneur-in-Residence for Draper Fisher Jurvetson Gotham Ventures, the leading NY-based early-stage technology focused venture fund and an affiliate of the worldclass venture firm Draper Fisher Jurvetson located in Silicon Valley.
Mr. Stewart holds a degree in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and has additional business course work from both Wharton and New York University.
